I do not mind the DC in the slightest. I can now sleep that much better at nights now knowing that Arena.Net finally found a way around PlayNCs crappy "security" and has taken their first true countermeasure for RMT companies and would-be hackers.

I feel sorry for you that you engage in so many bad activities (buying gold) etc that you are so worried about getting hacked.

Also since anet obviously knew about this update well in advance, there is NO reason they couldnt tell us in advance. It's not like it was some major glitch that needed fixing.

An hour earlier or later wouldnt have made much difference I dont think (its been an issue for weeks after all) - but even if it had, they could have put a general 30 minute warning message out or a 30 minute delay on the AT rounds.

Do not confuse my tact of word for yourself in buying multiple accounts and duping items. Everyone whom habitually plays GW knows your story- including your recent suspension on here for refering people to/supporting RMT companies. Having said that, I have never been "hacked" on Guild Wars. Ever.

Yep. The hacking has been an issue for quite some time now and I am happy to see it potentially resolved. Now, if only Arena.Net would permaban certain users who habitually purchase/sell accounts and people who buy gold/ectos/ect then GW would be a much cleaner place to play.

Yes, it should be able to play Guild Wars with absolutely no lag (GPU-wise) if you can play Crysis on High. Try turning your AA off in big towns if your PC is being sluggish (and of course turn it back on after you leave).
